Heyhey, i know i deserved to be scolded. I know i shud be studying, or at least sleeping. But i just feel like blogging now, at this moment!! Please please forgive me, take it as a short relaxation 'spa' after studying for the whole afternoon k?

I found something that will definitely struck ur head n lead to waves of reminiscence..

Trataaaa.... Our f5 graduation & prize-giving ceremony in 2005!! Complemented with a perfect rounding figure of a 40th for the ceremony.

If not mistaken, tis' the prize-giving for gold award holders:
The first from the left (definitely the girls row) --> Me!! Followed by my best friends NHW, then VIP, then CYY, hsin ling and xingkang.. Pizza chua han chow is down there.. :)

...... and this, for best subject prize. I know i know, it's for Malay language. Cuz that's the only subject prize i got for the year. Haaa.. Anyway im the 2nd from the right, with poulina (1st on right) and 'gou-mui' LSL on the left. And we had FSY below us =P

Hmm.. never in my wildest dreams i thought that i could stil retrieve such embarrassing but meaningful photo of mine. The dummy look of mine, with the spectacles and classical ponytail (oh no, i did tie plaits stimes, during special occasions, like my bday.. hehe ^-^ ), and sum of my classmates authentic look, who have now grown into pretty ladies and merry gentlemen.. (hmm.. hope they dont mind that i posted tis.. :D I have a feeling that yu ying and me look alike each other..

I guess secondary was the best time of my life, where i knitted the closest bonds and rships with my clique of friends. Studying together, encouraging each other, tuition-ing together, having lunch together, staying back at school together, waking up each other in classes, playing with each other, gossipping together, as well as achieving grades and pride together =) There's always so much to talk about my secondary time.. It simply cheers me up whenever i recall those sweet memories.. I ve never thought that studying could be that enjoyable!

Fell in love in london

Went to london this weekend. It was supposed to be a shopping trip for relaxation and to wrap up my week 7 for being able to catch up the lecturers for 3 modules (finally...). I shall admit im still a lousy shopper in this land of sterling pounds and multi-layered clothing. Although not a handful of shopping bags, i brought back my new love:

My long awaited waterproof winter coat.. Finally got one that gave me the 'it's you!!' feel, with a heart-shaped zip head, hood, pockets design and colour.. Of course also the price!! 40 pounds on a just-in-time christmas sale. Higher resistance to cold in future = warmer winters :D
Also grabbed a hand-made fleet scarf for myself.. Blue, as i have always wished to have one in that colour..
The tirade of shopping was awesome.. Obviously, i havent been away from the 4-thin-walls of my room other than for lectures, societies or grocery shopping. Oxford street was brightly illuminated with christmas lights and tell you what, london is warmer than warwick! Reminiscing such christmas atmosphere and good times :)

另一个在市场创立了较久的ISP 者一直抱着不闻不问，不攻不反。我甚至怀疑它是否不担心签购者下跌的问题，也想省下广告费。今天终于听到它的反击了。广告的话题围绕在“割了都没有比较快”，“割来做什么？”，还有最有一句最有意思的："割割割，割你的头"。仿佛开始更积极，也更直接的作出反击。我想，这两个ISP 已是公开竞争着了。也期待另一个ISP 作出下一个反击，意味着将来会有更多的“重头戏”。

当然，我没有特别支持哪一方。因为我也在想，
到底是割，还是不割，好呢？

I know, i know, i should be studying, but my mind just kept on wandering around. Perhaps a short post can help me to focus.. Received this email from juan ying two days ago, when she's just less than a km from me, which i think it would worth a sharing..

Coincidently, i remember i was asked a question regarding friendship in my KPMG application. The question sounds like tis: Would you prefer to have one or two close friends or just a group of friends? Obviously it took me quite a long time to click my answer, although tis shud not be. My first instinct was 'a group of friends', but then when i thought again, friends need not be a large clique. One close friend = five friends. Some ppl fail to find even one real friend in their lives. I should be grateful when i have more than one. So in the end, i clicked on the first option.

Recent incidents began to make me aware that as we are growing, we are more likely to adopt economic-self-interest-theory. Im disappointed, im hurt, im sad, but, im also glad, bcuz there are still people around who genuinely care and never fail to support me: Concerning me once in knowledge that im not in fine condition; motivating me, telling me that it would be alrite as i still have them; share their experiences to encourage me; rmb me no matter how busy they are or how far are them to me; and wouldnt be calculative with me. Thank you! Im not that bad luck yet i guess :)

To end the note, i shall present u a simple but meaningful 'hello':

knotting with notts (II)

Nott's post is finally up!! Sorry for the delay.. Has been busy and boggled by certain issues. But as i ve mentioned, i shall be fine. Thank you to those of u who made the effort to concern and support me. It was very sweet and i promise, i ll be fine :)

The first thing to come up is that it was full of suprise.. The day was enlighted with reunions where u bumped onto ur playmates, primary, secondary and college friends. U will realised that u will always hv mutual friends and everyone is kinda of connected to each other. It's a small, small world :D

The kwang hua-rians.. My playmate, Ninie.. She's adapting very well, dun wry honeymama :D

We decided to walk around the campus first since it was still quite early in the morning. The entire journey took less than 2 hrs, and we stepped on the land of nott b4 9am..

Friendship forever!!

Missed last year's nott games due to fever. Perhaps it was a blessing in disguise. As i get to meet a very good friend of mine, crystal, this year. If i ve been to nott last year, very high chances that i wouldn't be here to hang out with her this time..

Our nice host for the day, mr ang (lieng chong).. Being a primary school friend, he was just so kind and friendly enough to show us around..

This is definitely a very precious shot, due to the effort poured in to capture the scene, by us and the professional photographer lieng chong (thx!). The ducklings werent very 'friendly' and ran away frm us!! Hehe..

We then headed over to the portland building whereby the malaysian food fair was held. As u could expect, u can find lots of msian food there!!

Roti canai!!! I missss yeeewww..

Almost each and every stall sold nasi lemak. It's simply a must-buy dish.

Besides that, there were other specialities such as laksa johor (which we ordered), cendol (ordered too), mee jawa, curry laksa, karipap, sardine rolls (we bought that too!!), satay, ketupat, chicken rice and many others.. But.. is sushi a msian food????

After satisfying our cravings (honestly the food wasnt really as good as msia), we headed over to the city for further explorations..

Dinner was a fantastic one which was buffet in a chinese restaurant. We sat there for more than an hour and gobbled lots of food.. Just a little snap on the salad whilst crystal was giving me some guidances on photography :D

Yep, i guess that is sufficient enough to be a long post to complement the lack-of-photo of 'Little pinkie princie'.. In a nutshell, it was definitely a delightful and worthwhile trip.. Weather that day was of perfect, compared to the coldie warwick.. U can just walk around with a sweater and the scenaries are really of picturesque..

As an end note, i shall express my gratitude once again to crystal for coming down all the way from glasgow, in which the journey took her a dreadful 6 hrs and lieng chong for his kindness. Lastly, albeit i didnt get to watch a single game, congrats to our warwick champs for bringin back 2 medals for us!! High 5 & Yahoo :D

Anyway, some of u commented that my blog is very contradictory. One post could be a very happy and sweet one, but another could be a very sudden emo or negative expression. Hope you ll like tis one. GOSH, IT'S 238AM NOW!! Good nite!

just a quick one

Hi, just to announce that i've officially applied for final year accomodation! After going thru lots of thorough consideration and painful eliminations.. First of all, I know, i know, i'm going to leave my lovely new house, pretty room, bus passes and nearby restaurants by moving out next year. Ultimately i will hv to 'divorce' my 4 current hs mates who are always so nice and close to me. I will definitely miss the times when we sat along our stairs and chatted thru the nites.

But on a brighter note, it's also goodbye to packed lunches (that are always cold though i microwaved and covered it nicely), household chores (washing toilet esp), and the uneasiness of waiting for the buses. And the lovely accommodation mate that im going to live with... (u shud have known her =P) miss royce!! Due to the happy campus life filled with laughter and warmth staying with her in my first year, we have agreed and decided to stay together for our third year as well!! Looking forward for more 'fireworks' nx year dear :)

It was a painful decision after sleepless nites. Obviously my parents r very paranoid bout it as it's just a very small matter to them.

Hehe.. Im glad at least this is over now! Keeping my fingers crossed that we will get either of our first 2 choices. That would be a good beginning for a happy and motivated 3rd year!! :D

the belated wish

Before i blog on my pleasant trip on nott, here's something for my best ever flatmate -- Royce!! As she has always been so helpful, friendly, supportive and kind, we celebrated her 20th on friday at noodle bar..

Mainly to satisfy her 'char siew' cravings, we ended up almost everyone on the table ordering the same dish. Cuz we missed 'char siew' too!!

knot-ing with notts (I)

Hi im just back frm nottingham games. Was back slightly earlier than expected. Cool!!

The entire trip/adventure or exploration i shall say, was awesome and complete!! And it was full of delight meeting up with so much of long-lost friends. The world is really small.. U wil find out that ur friend's friend might actually know ur fren? Or ur friend might know ur friend's friend? Sort of complicated i know, but it is very magical! I shall upload the pictures for u guys tmrw bcuz i need to finish up my seminar assignments so that i do not feel so stressed up tmrw. N suprisingly, i still hv that strength.. :D
