Shattered into Pieces

I believe most of the Malaysians' hearts were shattered into pieces yesterday. It was not our day, perhaps a black 13th. All our national badminton players who were in action were knocked out. Im quite relieved that Lee Chong Wei didn play yesterday, fearing that the black day was blowing his golden chance away too.

It was extremely heart-breaking to see Mew Choo bowed out in straight games. When she held game point at 20-15, i really thought that we could get prepared for the third game. But it was unbelievable that she was unable to force the rubber game thought she held a total of 9 game points! Seeing force deuce by the aggressive Lu Lan, my heart was beating so fast, as if the gain o loss is in split seconds. Point by point, deuce by deuce, it was quite torturing, i couldnt imagine how could i imagine such a tremendous stress. My youngest sis even cried out of excitement when she saw deuce by deuce. Hehe. However, finally she bowed out and that was the end. Yet she fighting spirit is impressive and im hope i can hv such spirit in me too. NOt giving up til the end. Fight as long as u r able to. When i saw her tumbling, my heart tumbled too. Now, the defeat was a fact. N The nx olympic is bit too far to predict.

Wow, watching Koo-Tan's game was extremely 'unique'. They lost the game so fast, as if there was no chance for a turnover at all. IT's just like betting 500k in a bet. N u lost it in one second, one bet. Nevertheless, the Indonesians were outstanding and adamant. We just couldnt catch up with the momentum. But I really like the duo (Koo-Tan) very much, they were giving us high hopes when they won the all-england n swiss open last year. Furthermore, the same birth date of the two young men indirectly instilled an intuition that the pairing up of them r destined. They shone brightly last year. If olympic was held last year, they wil definitely have very very high chances of winning the gold medal. But in one year, we could see the ups n downs they encountered. From world no. 1 , they r now world no.4, n i guess this ranking wil continue to drop. Worst off, Rexy is going to 'divorce' them. Haiz. So sad. I like the pair so much. Always wanting to support them.

Undeniably, it was disappointing that we have an early departure from the journey, yet it was true that we r stil underhogs compared to others, esp in terms of psychology. N i believe no one opts to lose, n that they have tried their best.
