Winter is so miserable in a way that u dont feel like going out and everything is sort of 'dead' or at least stagnant. The roads were so slippery that nearly tripped and fell even when i was walking slowly, step by step. But we were sharing tips on what kind of pathway is the safest to step on, n we concluded that the newly formed ice instead is the best, rather than those nearly-melt ones.. Some roads were awfully dirty and unpleasant-looking, when the cars drive thru, leaving tyre stains and marks; or when the salt was poured to melt the ice, the ice turns brown and 'muddy'..
But on a brighter note, the land was so enchanting the moment snow showered. It was just so lovely, so pure, so peaceful, so simple, so adorable.. And even snow flakes fall on u, it's kind of romantic (i know tis sounds silly).. So i guess tis' the so -called love-hate relationship with snow hmmm :)
A snap taken from hearsall common on my way home yesterday, which is no longer a spacious green field, but a land of white..
Apart from that, gosh, i m suffering from serious jet lags!! I thought i ve been adjusting my time slowly back during my last week in msia. BUt still, but still.. it happens. I gotta go to bed around 930pm and tend to wake up about 6am.. It is pleasurable in a way tat getting up early to work is a good way to start the day, but i enjoy watching dramas into the nite as well.. Well well well, just let time and my body hv the war and adjust by themselves..And we did not have internet yesterday. The exchange server was down and the entire neighbourhood was down. Pity my apples in country story that is supposed to yield great income to have turned in worthless rotten apples. And the day was almost unproductive and unmeaningful. FOrtunately they were able to fix it in a time shorter than expected =)
I guess tis is just too long for a post. WIll update again in case of anything. I heard there were some tragedies happening around the world, and some riots in msia. They sound disastrous. Am going to read the online paper now. GOodbye.
